For this, I swear by a straightener and a round brush – pull hair taut, flip under, and then lock it in with a cool shot. I smooth everything down with a light serum (Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil is a fave).

This was my summer gallery opening staple last year – with bare shoulders and drop earrings, it was chic but not stuffy.
