I would apply a chrome powder by Daily Charme and put it layered over a silver gel base giving the object the halo of metallic finish, and Essie gets the perfect combination of nude top and barefoot. What is important is to produce a mirror finish finish of the chrome which is only possible to be achieved when done over a non-wipe topcoat. It takes a bit of extra work, but is worth it to get the reflective finish.
To achieve this at home, patience is key. Once the nude base had been prepped and applied, I would take time to touch up the chrome powder on to the nail using a sponge applicator in the gel-polished nail. It’s surprisingly satisfying and almost meditative. The trick is to cover it with another coat of polish so that it does not deteriorate.
