The easiest thing about loving is that it does not demand a lot from you. It admires your texture, safeguards your roots, and causes your outfit to appear instantly more fashioned. Moreover, it suits a hoop-earring and a small gloss.

This is among my best summer and transitional weather favorites because who has time to do major sophistication with their hair when it is possible to have the curls do all the talking?

Big Bombshell Puff With Retro Pin-Up Curls

This is the style that occurs when retro pin-up and curly-girl magic meet. Imagine old-Hollywood drama – but with natural hair. The puff is round and full, with the curls falling down and across the forehead, in perfect spiral fringe, well placed. It is the size, accuracy and retro fantasy in a single strong figure.

My favorite product to use to create that lift is Camille Rose Spiked Honey Mousse, which adds hold and hydration and does not flake under the skin. The night before I put the fringe of curls on flexi rods and place them one in place around the face, one by one, by fingers. The outcome is muscular yet mellowed down – retro without seeming old fashioned.

The first time I used this appearance, I had it with a mat red lip and a small black dress. Frankly speaking, I thought I was in the film set of a contemporary James Bond film. It is drama without any weight, without any boldness, without any chaos.

It would suit a formal night, editorial shoot, or even a holiday party and make people turn heads, but still feel yourself. Assuming that in 2026 it is all about glorifying curl identity – then this appearance is the theme song.

Golden Bronde Spiral Layers With Curtain Bangs

Something intensely decadent about this bronde palette, the warm blonde highlights interwoven into a caramel-brown base, and rolling down a wave of scrolls. What makes this even more perfect are the bangs of the curtain: they are long, side swept, and perfectly integrated. The entire style feels like a fresh, sunny bounce that makes one want to run his/her fingers through his/her hair throughout the day (and perhaps, get someone to do so).

Such combination of color and curl engages well on shine and moisture. I apply Kerastase Curl Manifesto Gelee Curl Contour to define it and then top it off with a bit of Ceremonia Aceite de Moska the smell of which alone makes it all a ritual.

In my case, this is the type of cut and color that always must remind me of vacations, the way the light strikes the curls, the slight dimension provided by the highlights. Once I used this appearance on a solo visit to Lisbon and all street sellers complimented it (no joke).

It is minimalistic and aesthetically abundant. The best way to be a natural brunette and lighten up without turning into a full-blonde – and very becoming on medium skin.

Polished Puff With Perfect Ringlets

Naturalness is matched with delicacy in this ever so round puff, carved out of closely set ringlets that were pulled upwards and backward to form lift. The body is sculptural, yet not rigid, and every curl retains its volume and spring especially over the face where two strands of hair curl there, never too far, where the cheeks and nose sufficiently meet. It is a real power pony with a side of poetry because of the clean edges and soft parting.

In order to maintain the curls in this manner, I am a firm believer in Bounce Curl Light Hold Crème Gel on wash days and a spraying of Flora and Curly Jasmine Oasis Hydrating Hair Mist the next day to bring them back to life. I never apply any heat on this appearance, a good diffuser and patience are long.

My favorite part about this puff is that it is well balanced. Not trying to hard, but it is evidently aware that it looks great. I have been wearing it to interviews, baby showers and even grocery runs and I feel that it always suits. The face-framing spirals? The are basically brushless soft glam.

The appearance is appropriate all through the year, although it is spring in particular, everything is in blossom, and so are you.

Elegant Low Bun With Face-Framing Spirals

This bunned low curly style is the ideal of tenderness. It is nearly at the back of the neck, and in the down-waving tendrils around the collarbone and cheeks. Something about this is eternal and womanly, the type of appearance that is always appropriate. The luster is natural, the form is romantic and it outlines the face as an oil painting.

In order to make it this soft, I apply SheaMoisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie and a little Jojoba oil with damp curls and loosely pin the back into a bun, leaving the natural spiral of the curls to determine their placement. I not only omit the front parts, but only whip up with a curl wand.

It is such style which makes me feel like a girl in France in the linen dress in spite of the fact that I am wearing only jeans. It is romantic, not too high-maintenance, elegant, not uptight.

It is also one of my wedding favored styles either as a guest or a bridesmaid. You will never repent having taken this one. Promise.
