It is shamelessly fun and gives me a nostalgic wink to the Y2K fashion but updated to the 2025 aesthetic. The nails are all uniquely themselves, which makes the appearance quirky yet completely put together.

In this combination, OPI Strawberry Margarita is an excellent pink base. Apply CND Wildfire on the daring reds, and The GelBottle Jungle Green on the stems. You will need a striping brush and nail tape to find it easier to apply the stripes and checker pattern neatly.

I never just decide on the spot to put what pattern on what nail because I have to think about the balance of it all. Allow each design to cure separately so as to avoid smudging, and seal everything with a clear top coat of gloss.

Cherry Garden on Blush Pink

For the base, I recommend Orly Kiss The Bride. The cherries would be most effectively done using Modelones Cherry Red and Leaf Green to do the stems and leaves. The cherries will require a very fine dotting tool to ensure they are all of the same size.

Allow your base and cure completely then start placing your cherries randomly on top of the nails in a staggered fashion. The key is to avoid making the pattern too symmetrical to keep that organic, “cherry garden” feel. Seal with a thick shiny top coat to make it really shiny.

This group is the one that should be on a picnic blanket, with an umbrella, drinking sparkling lemonade. It’s delicate, playful, and completely wearable.

Glossy Red French with Tiny Cherry Sprigs

This is where the ideal combination of the French manicure and cherry nail art is achieved. The statement red glossy tips intermingled with scattered cherry highlights, give a modern fun take on the traditional French. The almond-shaped nails are the additional sophistication of the whole design.
